Aryan Narola Wins Two F4 Race at Buddh International Circuit

Aryan Narola left the Buddh International Circuit with two Formula 4 Indian Championship victories, but the Greater Noida round of the Indian Racing Festival had more than one story to tell. Ruhaan Alva gave Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru the second Indian Racing League win on Sunday, while Raoul Hyman and Ntiyiso Mabunda had taken the opening IRL and F4 races a day earlier. Across two days, the programme featured three F4 contests and two IRL races, producing four different winners before Narola completed his Sunday double. The results kept the focus on close racing and changing positions.

Hyman and Mabunda Set the Pace on Saturday

Goa Aces JA Racing’s Raoul Hyman won the first IRL race after starting behind Emil Heyerdahl. The British driver passed his rival and finished in 27:40.759. Sai Shiva Sankaran of Kolkata Royal Tigers took second in 27:55.806, just ahead of Jemma Moore, who crossed the line in 27:56.070 for Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru. Chennai Turbo Riders’ Tijil Rao had worked his way up from eighth and was in the fight for the front positions. His charge ended on the final lap when a car failure forced him out.

The opening F4 race came down to a battle between South African drivers. Aryan Narola briefly moved into the lead after starting third, but Ntiyiso Mabunda responded and reclaimed the position. Mabunda won in 32:46.842, setting up an interesting challenge for Sunday.

Narola Converts Sunday Pace Into Two Wins

Narola returned on Sunday and made the most of his opportunities. Swarnav Das led the first F4 race initially, but Narola passed him on lap two. Luviwe Sambudla then moved past Das and began putting pressure on the leader. The contest changed when Sambudla retired with engine trouble in the closing laps.

Aris Kyriakou moved ahead of Das to finish second. Das ended the race third, while Narola kept control at the front to secure the victory. The result gave him momentum heading into the final F4 contest. The second race saw Narola lead from the start. Arjun Chheda and Mabunda stayed close, but neither managed to find a route past him. Chheda finished second, and Mabunda took third, completing Narola’s double.

Alva Wins as Chanderia Retires From the Lead

Sunday’s IRL race brought another change at the front. Shane Chanderia moved ahead of Ruhaan Alva and held the lead for several laps before a car-related issue ended his challenge. Alva took over and went on to win for Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru. Mohamed Ryan secured second place for Hyderabad Blackbirds, while Alister Yoong finished third for Speed Demons Delhi. The result gave Bengaluru a win to close its BIC weekend, after Jemma Moore had finished third on Saturday. Narola’s two F4 victories and Alva’s IRL result provided the Sunday highlights, but Saturday’s winners had already shown how quickly the order could change. The Greater Noida round concluded on November 1, with five races across the two championships. The weekend offered little room for error at either end.
