The Indian Racing League and Formula 4 India will race at Buddh International Circuit for the first time before the season ends on Navi Mumbai’s streets in December. BIC (Buddh International Circuit), in Greater Noida, hosted the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix from 2011 to 2013. Its return to the motorsport calendar gives fans a chance to watch racing at the circuit, which has not hosted an FIA-level championship event for 13 years.
Formula 4 India will stage two rounds at BIC, scheduled for October 31 to November 1 and November 28 to 29. The Indian Racing League will share the venue on both weekends, with its second and third rounds taking place there. Both series will first visit Madras International Circuit in Chennai on October 22 and 23. That event will also open the Indian Racing League season.
Formula 4 India began its 2026 campaign at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, where the opening two rounds took place in September. Aris Kyriakou, racing for Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru, leads the standings. Luviwe Sambudla of Goa Aces JA Racing is second, five points behind, keeping the title fight close before Chennai.

Indian Racing League: Navi Mumbai to Host Season Finale
The Navi Mumbai Street Circuit is scheduled to debut on December 5 and 6, hosting the final round of both championships. The 3.69-kilometre layout runs along Palm Beach Road and features 11 turns in an anti-clockwise direction. The street race was originally planned for 2025 but postponed to this season. Its inclusion gives the Indian Racing League a different setting for the closing weekend, moving the action from established race tracks to public roads adapted for competition.
The event will also become the Indian Racing Festival’s second night race, following the Chennai street event held in 2024. The Formula 4 India finale will take place at the same Navi Mumbai venue, bringing its six-round season to a close. The series has four rounds on the 2026 calendar, beginning in Chennai and finishing in Navi Mumbai.

All rounds of both championships will be streamed live on JioHotstar and broadcast on Star Sports in India. Fans can follow Formula 4 India from Chennai through the two BIC weekends and the finale in Navi Mumbai. The series follows a shorter schedule, with its first round in Chennai and three further rounds at BIC and Navi Mumbai.

The calendar gives Indian motorsport two venue milestones in one season: the return of FIA-level racing to BIC and the first race meeting at Navi Mumbai’s street circuit. Attention now turns to Chennai, where both series resume before heading to the new stops.
